John Daniel Gee is a former American Bishop Designate of the World Council of Independent Christian Churches.  He is a licensed pastor in The Christian and Missionary Alliance.  He is also a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy and an endorsed Chaplain.  He is serving as Lead Pastor of Chico Alliance Church in Bremerotn, WA, after having served as Associate Pastor since August 2013.


Born in San Antonio, Texas in 1982 he was the first of two children born to Anna and William Gee.  In his early life he lived with his parents in relative poverty until 1991 when his parents divorced, both his brother and him were sent to live at a children’s home called Boysville in Converse, Texas.  John lived there from 1991 until he graduated from Judson High School in May 2001.  He remembers Boysville fondly and is still involved with the organization today, being selected as the Alumni Angel at the annual “Gathering of Angels” in Converse, Texas.  After graduation, John enlisted in the Navy in August of 2001 and was in bootcamp on September 11, 2001.  He stated that that day changed him from, “a guy who just wanted college money into a career military man”.  Since then he has served onboard three US Submarines, Henry M Jackson, Georgia and Louisiana and has served the Navy as both an instructor at Trident Training Facility in Bangor, Washington and as a Weaponer at Strategic Weapons Facility- Pacific in Bangor, Washington.  He also served as an Individual Augmentee in Operation Enduring Freedom from 2006-2007.


John graduated from Judson High School in Converse, Texas in May 2001. He graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Workforce Education and Development.  He then graduated from the Atlantic Coast Theological Seminary in 2010 with a Masters degree in Theology. John then graduated with a Masters degree in Psychology- Marriage and Family Therapy in 2011.  He received his third Masters degree in Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2013 and received his Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Eastern Missouri Seminary in September of 2014.

Ministry Work

Pastor Gee currently presides as the Lead Pastor of Chico Alliance Church.  In his work with the WCICC he was the Bishop Designate of Washington State in The United States and was also the presiding Bishop of Mt. Sinai International Seminary. He was first ordained in 2008 by the National Association of Christian Ministers. in 2011, he transferred over to the World Council of Independent Christian Churches and was selected as the State Director for Washington that same year.  In March of 2013, he was designated by Archbishop John Lupoli to the Bishopric as a selectee, becoming the youngest Bishop in the WCICC’s history at 31.  He has since accepted licensure with The Christian and Missionary Alliance.  He is the author of the book “The Christian Truths of the Pagan gods”.
