Procedures for Phase 2

Beginning June 1, 2020:  The following changes to the drop-off and pick-up procedure are from recommendations by the CDC and from direct advisement from our visiting nurse here at the childcare. We will reevaluate these procedures as needed and will be discussing further changes as we enter phase 2 and 3 of Washington state reopening.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

We are trying our best to limit the number of people in our building as well as limit exposure for the children and staff. We no longer have the temp/sign-in station outside, so the drop-off person may now enter the building and bring the child to the classroom. Please observe proper social distancing.
  • We are asking for only one drop-off or pick-up person in the building at one time.
  • Enter the building through the double glass doors only.
  • Upon entering, please go directly to a bathroom to wash your and your child’s hands.
  • Bring your child to their classroom.
      • Infant – Preschool – please do not enter the classroom, but wait at the door for the teacher.
      • Big Kid Room – you may enter to sign-in, but please do not walk around the room.
  • The Teacher will need to take the temperature of both the child and the drop-off person and ask a series of health questions. If either temperature exceeds 100.4 degrees, the child will not be allowed at the center and you will need to follow up with Tammy or Anna on direction for returning to care.
  • If you are using the tablet for sign-in/out, please wipe the tablet down with the provided disinfecting wipes.

Thank you all for your continued patience during this time!

Our prayer is that we can return to some sort of normal as soon as we are able.
